Black Crowned Night Heron

The Black-crowned Night-Heron (Nycticorax nycticorax), commonly abbreviated to just night heron in Eurasia, is a medium-sized heron found throughout a large part of the world, except in the coldest regions and Australasia.

These birds stand still at the water's edge and wait to ambush prey, mainly at night or early morning. They primarily eat small fish, crustaceans, frogs, aquatic insects, small mammals, reptiles and small birds. During the day they rest in trees or bushes.

White Tiger 1

White Tiger
The white tiger is a pigmentation variant of the Bengal tiger. The white fur is due to the lack of pheomelanin pigment, which is found in Bengal tigers with orange color fur. the White Bengal tigers tend to grow faster and heavier than the orange Bengal tiger. They also tend to be somewhat bigger at birth, and as fully grown adults. White Bengal tigers are fully grown when they are 2–3 years of age. White male tigers reach weights of 200 to 230 kilograms and up to 3 meters in length.

Pearls of nature

Pearls of Nature

It was a rainy evening. As usual I sat beside the window, looking out at the rain drops falling on the leaves. It looks like pearls are showered from the sky and earth was waiting for it from long time. The lush green leaves when moved by the winds looks as if they are the playing some game. The water drops on the leaves moves and leaves try to hold on them. Trying to protect them from falling off as parents do for their children. The sun rays falling on the drops make them shine, as if precious pearls are glittering in broad day light.
